THE PROFILE
A closed steel tube, not a folded sheet. That is why it costs more
Horizontal, one slat. Drawn to scale. One rail: a closed 80 by 20 mm steel tube, not a folded sheet. That is the weight you feel and the reason it costs more.
TECHNICAL DATA
Each rail is an 80 by 20 mm closed steel tube, not a folded sheet. They run dead level with a 15 mm gap between them, riveted into a bent steel frame, hot-dip galvanized and then powder coated in your RAL colour.
It is the heaviest fence in the range, with far more steel per metre than a board fence, which is where the higher price comes from. Nothing flexes, nothing rattles, and the lines stay dead straight.
Segments up to 3 metres long and up to 2 metres high, made to your measurements. Gates and side gates are built from the same tube, so the whole run reads as one piece.
Why the price jump: the vertical and rhombus fences are folded from 0.5 mm sheet. Horizontal is built from closed 80 × 20 mm tube. More steel, more work at the factory, more weight on the van. From €210 per m² supplied and fitted, and the written quote is fixed after we measure up.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Horizontal questions
Why is horizontal dearer than vertical?
Because it is a different build. The vertical and rhombus fences are folded from 0.5 mm galvanized sheet. The horizontal rails are closed 80 by 20 mm steel tube, hot-dip galvanized and powder coated, so there is far more steel in every metre and more work at the factory. You feel it the moment you lift a panel.
How big can a panel be?
Segments up to 3 metres long and up to 2 metres high, made to your measurements. Longer runs are simply more segments between posts.
Can it go onto pillars I already have?
Yes. It fixes to steel posts, or with brackets onto existing rendered or block pillars, and the rails are made to length so nothing is cut on site.
Can a gate match it?
Yes. Sliding, swing and side gates are built from the same 80 by 20 mm tube in the same colour.
How long does an order take?
Your fence is made to order and painted to your colour at the factory, so allow about 4 weeks from booking to fitting day. A small one off order, like a single gate on its own, waits on a production run and can take longer. You get the real date in writing before you pay a deposit.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the day we finish, in writing with your quote.
